New Delhi: A finance ministry-appointed task force, drafting a new direct tax code that will replace the Income Tax Act, will give its report to finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday, said a person privy to the development. The panel, led by Central Board of Direct Taxes member Akhilesh Ranjan, was earlier required to submit its recommendations on Friday.
