The Tamil Nadu government which is opening the religious places nearly a month after the Centre allowed it, released a Standard Operating Procedure.
- Touching of statues, idols and holy books, are not to be allowed.
- The devotees will have to maintain a distance of six feet
- People above 65 years of age, pregnant women not allowed
Chennai: Tamil Nadu, which has the second-highest number of coronavirus cases in the country, has issued guidelines for the reopening of places of worship today, as the country enters the second phase of ‘Unlock’ or ‘Unlock 2.0’ – the phased reopening of activities.
