The past couple of years have been very difficult because of the pandemic. For those who are sports lovers, you must have missed a lot sitting in the stadium, cheering for your favorite team or player and bet on their winnings or scores. However, there is a way out to that. With sports betting apps like the Bet365 app you can bet online and put your money on your favorite player. However, as 2022 rolls in and COVID becomes milder, we might finally again enjoy the full force of sporting events. So, here is a list of a few sporting events in 2022 that you must take note of, even if you cannot attend them physically.
1. UEFA Champions League Final
For football this is not new but definitely big news! The much awaited final of the UEFA Champions League for the session 2021-2022 will take place on 28th May at Krestovsky Stadium in St. Petersburg, Russia. This is going to be the 67th chapter of the tournament involving all of the premier European football clubs. The winners of this one will play with the winners of the UEFA Europa League in the UEFA Super Cup 2022. However, with the war at hand and Russia’s genocide on Ukraine, let us see what happens to the venue.
2. NBA Finals
This might be very big if you are American but even if you are not and still love basketball, this is going to be exciting for you too. The 76th season of the National Basketball Association had begun on 19th October, 2021. It is supposed to end on 19th June, 2022 with the finals. The winner last year was the Milwaukee Bucks after defeating the Phoenix Suns.
Now Tennis is something everybody loves all over the world and Wimbledon is definitely one of the most popular events. The most grand tournament of tennis comes back on 27th June, 2022 in London for its 135th season. This is going to be the 8th chapter of the tournament. The hosts will definitely strive to preserve the title of the champions this year as well. This is going to be the 22nd chapter of the tournament. Moreover, Qatar is going to be the first Arab country to host this crazy tournament.
