Amid the ongoing tussle between the Centre and microblogging site Twitter, homegrown app ‘Koo’ has crossed gross downloads of three million, revealed its founder Mayank Bidawatka.
In an interview to News18, Bidawatka said that downloads for the app have grown four-fold in the past six months, adding that he naturally expects the growth pace of his app to continue at a steeper, more exponential pace in the next few months.
According to Bidawatka, the downloads for the app have increased ever since Prime Minister Modi announced that Koo was one of the winners of the MyGov Aatmanirbhar App Challenge.
Bidawatka further added that as the Koo app matures into a more engaged ecosystem, it will likely undergo a few changes in the coming times.
