Technology giant Microsoft has issued an apology after thousands of users across the UK reported problems with its products, including the email service Outlook and the popular game Minecraft. This incident follows a significant global IT outage less than two weeks ago, which left over eight million computers running Microsoft systems inaccessible. That previous outage, caused by a flawed software update from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, affected sectors such as healthcare and travel.
Reports of the disruptions began pouring in on Tuesday afternoon, according to Downdetector, a site that monitors online service issues.
