Bengaluru: An Indian-origin venture capitalist sparked a wider discussion online after highlighting what he termed as “a massive health crisis” in India. The X user, identified as Debarghya, also known as Deedy Das, a tech influencer, mentioned in his post that every time he visits India, his eyes water more, and he ends up coughing more.
The X post read, “Every time I’m in India, I notice my eyes water more, I blow my nose more, and people in general cough more. My parents always said these were ‘allergies,’ but whenever they come to visit me in the US, they miraculously disappear.”
The post further added, “We live in denial of a massive health crisis.”
