Recently, the Taiwanese hardware merchant QNAP asked all its customers last week to update their firmware and apps installed on their network-attached storage (NAS) devices to circumvent infections with a new twist of ransomware that was named as AgeLocker.
But, it has been observed after research that no unpatched vulnerability was determined to be exploited in the management of the AgeLocker ransomware attack. That’s why all the known interested QNAP NAS Devices are working in their older unpatched QNAP device firmware, which claimed to be updated.
