On Day 3 of second Test match, Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja would look to extend India’s 82-run lead against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground. India skipper Rahane made some smart decisions on the field on the first day of India’s second Test against Australia and followed that up with a fantastic knock on Day 2, giving India a much-needed advantage in second Test of four-match series.
India will resume its innings from 277-5 at MCG with Rahane and Jadeja as overnight batsmen.
Australia cricket team, on the other hand, would look to bounce back into the game with an early breakthrough today and restrict India inside 300 runs.
