Mahindra introduced the Marazzo MPV back in 2018 to take on the highest-selling MPV in the country, the Toyota Innova. The plan was to introduce a feature-rich with the same credentials as the Innova but at a significantly lower price point. However, the MPV has not been as popular as Mahindra would’ve liked. In fact, the sales figures for the Marazzo have never been exciting at all. In a bid to change that, Mahindra is now about to equip the diesel powertrain of the Marazzo with an AMT gearbox, to offer convenience to the customers and make the Marazzo a more appealing proposition.
