After revealing the sales report for 2020, Mercedes also announced its future plans to remain at the top spot in the Indian luxury car segment. Having sold over 2,850 units in the last three months alone, the recovery after the pandemic has been stark and overwhelming. Mercedes-Benz ended the year strongly in India by staying on the top spot with 7,893 units sold in 2020 as the luxury carmaker. BMW came in a close second with over 6,600 units sold in 2020. Now Mercedes has planned to launch 15 new or updated products in 2021, along with the local assembly of the Maybach S580.
