Volkswagen has adopted a product offensive strategy for 2021 in a bid to revive the lost market share in the Indian automobile industry. To give its entire lineup a shake it has planned a ton of launches across various segments to diversify and activate its portfolio, which unfortunately has not seen any new edition for quite a while. All that is about to change this year with plans to launch a mid-size Creta-rivalling SUV, Taigun and an all-new Vento. There have also been reports of another SUV and there is a possibility that it may be the Atlas Cross Sport. But there are spy images of the 5-seat SUV, Tiguan coming to the surface. We have reasons to believe that VW may well bring back a petrol-only powered Tiguan. It was discontinued in its diesel avatar after the implementation of BS6 emission norms.
