The Kerala High Court On Monday Granted Bail To The Accused

Reportedly, the Kerala High Court was hearing a bail application regarding this case. The bail application was filed by the third accused in the case, Manikandan. Justice Sunil Thomas gave the judgement that Manikandan was in jail for four years and didn’t play a major role in the abduction and assault cases.

According to reports, Manikandan is accused of aiding the first accused, Sunil Kumar, aka Pulsur Suni. Now, it has to be analyzed whether Manikandan was framed by Sunil or not.

The petition states that Manikandan had “taken control” of the survivor’s vehicle when the crime was being committed. Moreover, he stated through his appeal that serious allegations have been raised against Sunil in comparison to him. The allegations against him are “comparatively less serious”.

Notably, the court stated that there were many witnesses left to be interrogated or examined and that trial would therefore take time. The court said in its statement,…
