21-year-old climate activist arrested by Delhi Police from Bengaluru

In a significant development, a Special cell of the Delhi Police arrested a 21-year-old climate activist named Disha Ravi from Bengaluru in connection with Greta Thunberg toolkit case on Sunday (February 14). According to Delhi Police, Disha Ravi edited the tooklit and then forwarded it to others.

It may be recalled that earlier Delhi Police had sought help from Google to trace the IP address of the authors who uploaded the toolkit on the ongoing farmers’ protest at Delhi borders.

It is learnt that Disha Ravi is one of the founders of the ‘Friday for Future’ campaign. A case reagrding the toolkit shared by Greta on Twitter was filed by Delhi Police on February 4.

Earlier teen Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg had shared a ‘toolkit’ advising people on how to show support for the farmers protesting against the three contentious farm laws in India. Later, Greta had deleted that link and uploaded a new toolkit.
