Popular television actor Shweta Tiwari, who is seen essaying the role of Guneet Sikka in Sony TV’s show ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’, has tested positive for coronavirus, confirmed a source. After testing positive, the actor has quarantined herself at home.
Shweta had been shooting for her show, which is much loved for the chalk and cheese chemistry between Amber Sharma and Guneet Sikka, who finally begin dating and confess their love to each other, after keeping their relationship under wraps for a long time.
Earlier, her ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ co-star Varun Badola’s wife Rajeshwari Sachdev had tested for the novel coronavirus.
