Bad Boyz Review: A Clean Omar Lulu Comedy Ride

About Bad Boyz

TECHNICAL

The first thing you must know about Omar Lulu’s Bad Boyz is that it offers you nothing in terms of serious takeaways at the end of the film. This film is an out and out journey into silliness and mind fun, and that is not a bad thing at all. Bad Boyz takes a jab at anyone and everyone in a typical spoof fashion. The comedy offering is a hit and miss. Some of the screwball moments featuring the characters offer quite a generous dose of laughs, but that does not extend all across the film, as some moments intended for comedy failed to utter any response in the theatre where some of the unintentionally funny moments managed to achieve the same. One highlight of the film is is soundtrack and background score that elevates the fun mood, and constantly keeps the audience entertained. However, the novelty of this silly comedy could wear off as the runtime progresses.
