Baroda cricketer Deepak Hooda alleges misbehaviour by captain Krunal Pandya ahead of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

Ahead of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020-21, Baroda squad saw a huge issue after their vice-captain Deepak Hooda left the camp. The reason for the same being the alleged misbehaviour by captain Krunal Pandya. 

Hooda, who also had led Baroda in past had written to the Baroda Cricket Association, alleging that Pandya used abusive language.

According to Sportstar, Hooda wrote, in the letter wrote that he was demoralised, depressed and under pressure. 

“I am playing cricket for last 11 years from Baroda Cricket Association. At present, I am selected for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. I am demoralised, depressed and under pressure. As from last some days and at least from the last couple of days, my team captain Mr Krunal Pandya is using abusive language to me in front of my team-mates and also other states teams who have come for participation at Reliance Stadium Vadodara,” Hooda wrote in the letter, as per Sportstar.
