The Sixers will be facing the Perth Scorchers in the Qualifier, who after having a scratchy start losing three of their first four games, turned their campaign around and won eight of their next 10 games to finish on the second position. The loser of the game will get a second chance, against the winner of the knockout between the Sydney Thunder and the winner of the Eliminator between Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers.
