BJP alleges ‘death’ of party worker as police uses water cannons, tear gas at rally

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday alleged that one of its party workers died due to police lathi charge, at a rally in West Bengal’s Siliguri city. In a video tweeted by the state unit of the party, BJP held Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who also holds the home ministry, responsible for the death of Ulen Roy.

Neither the police nor other relevant authorities have confirmed the death yet.
