The opening match of the 2022 Crown Jewel ended on a seemingly awkward note as Brock Lesnar pinned Bobby Lashley while being locked in the Hurt Lock. Lesnar was in the lock when he jumped to the side of the ring and converted the Hurt Lock into a pin.
Lashley still had Lesnar in hurt Lock when the referee counted to 3. Lashley was in control of things after the match and again locked Lesnar in a Hurt Lock.
Lashley left the ring with his music playing in the arena while Lesnar was trying to gather what had happened. He was in an uncomfortable position after Lashley left. The latest sequence of events confirmed that their storyline is not over and they will square off in a one-on-one match again.
Lesnar’s win saw him equal his record against Lashley….
