7th Pay Commission Latest News: The new year is likely to bring good news for the central government employees as the government is likely to credit more money to their salary accounts from this month.
It is being speculated that the central government employees may get a 4 per cent hike in their Dearness Allowance from this month.
Under the seventh pay commission that will be beneficial for employees, the central government has also decided to extend the ‘disability compensation’ to all its serving employees. It will be applicable if they get disabled in the line of duty and are still retained in service despite their disability.
This is in line with the efforts of the government to simplify the rules and rectify discriminatory clauses.
