New Delhi: A courtroom drama unfolded on Monday when the Central Bureau of Investigation (Cbi) claimed that in a statement to the probe agency, Arvind Kejriwal put the onus on Manish Sisodia. about the cartelisation of the Delhi excise policy 2021. Notably, Sisodia, who was the Deputy CM of Delhi and Excise Minister, at the time when the policy was implemented.
During his submission in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court, Kejriwal denied the alleged statement claimed by the CBI. The Delhi CM said the CBI had arrested him only to make headlines. He added it has already started in the media.
“I am being told that I have made Manish Sisodia as an accused. It’s being played in the media. Till the time I am in court see how many media stories will come,” the Delhi CM said.
In response to Kejriwal’s statement, the probe agency said, “We made this statement before the court because you said so. No source said anything to the Media. We have argued it here…
