Delhi Capitals (DC) cruised to a 44-run over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on matchday seven of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Friday (September 25). CSK’s slow and sloppy batting display ignited fans on Twitter asking for Suresh Raina’s comeback to the side.
Just days before the IPL 2020’s kickoff, Raina opted out of the tournament due to “personal problems” and left a huge gap in CSK’s batting lineup.
With this win, DC has now bagged back-to-back victories in the opening two matches of an IPL season for the first time since 2010.
In chase of a target score of 176, CSK got off to a horrible start as they lost both their openers early on.
