Gurjar agitation in Rajasthan intensifies as protesters uproot railway tracks; internet snapped in some areas

The Gujjar agitation has started in Rajasthan once again for the demand for reservation. Led by Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla and Vijay Bainsla, protesters from the Gujjar community blocked the railway tracks in Pilupura and even uprooted the tracks.

Due to the protest, trains on the Delhi-Mumbai route have been stopped. While talking to Zee Rajasthan, Colonel Bainsla said that the outline of the movement will now depend on the decision of the government. “I am waiting for Minister Ashok Chandna,” he said.

On the other hand, it has been learnt that Vijay Bainsla has rejected the government proposal put forward by Sanjay Goyal.

Meanwhile, Ashok Chandna, Colonel Bainsla and other Gurjar leaders reached Hindaun for talks, but due to blocking the road, they returned to Jaipur. Minister Ashok Chandna has appealed to the agitators not to engage in violence.
