Residents of a house in Jankipuram in Lucknow are being haunted by mysterious sounds coming from one particular ‘wall’ in the house. According to Aarti, who has been living in the palatial house with her husband, daughter and mother-in-law since the past 27 years, the sounds emanating from a wall in her mother-in-law’s room.
“For the past two weeks, these noises have started in the house,” Aarti said.
The family initialy thought that the noises were coming from a neighbour’s house where construction was underway but got worried when the voices didn’t dissipate even after the construction stopped.
“But the noises then started coming even when there was no work in the neighbour’s house. My husband and I go out to work and my daughter and mother stay at home. The volume of the sounds has been increasing with every passing day,” Arti told reporters.
