In what can only be described as an extravagant display of wealth, a Russian man booked a helicopter ride to eat a burger at McDonald’s.
According to reports, Viktor Martynov and his girlfriend were vacationing in Crimea when they got fed up of the local food outlets there. Dying to have a burger, he booked an expensive two-way helicopter ride to the nearest McDonald’s outlet which was 450 km away. The entire journey cost Victor around 2,000 pounds.
He flew to Krasnador, a city in Russia, to have burgers at a Mcdonald’s outlet.
It is to be noted that there aren’t any McDonald’s outlet in Crimea since the fast-food chain ceased operations following the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014.
Martynov, 33-year-old, is the CEO of a Moscow company that sells helicopters.
