In Uttar Pradesh, more than half of NSA arrests this year were for cow slaughter

THE National Security Act (NSA) was invoked against a man accused of being involved in cow slaughter in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, on September 6, adding one more to the list of people against whom the stringent legislation has been used in the state this year. More than half of these cases relate to alleged cow slaughter.
