Kolkata: Continuing its excellent march as the most preferred digital service provider in Kolkata, Reliance Jio has added highest 1.12 lakh new mobile subscribers in the State Capital in the month of June 2021, as per the latest telecom subscriber data released by TRAI. In addition to this, Jio’s wireline subscriber base crossed 1.59 lakhs as on 30th June 2021 revealed the wireline subscriber data released by TRAI, says a press release.
Wireline broadband has got a special thrust during the pandemic with work from home, study from home and entertainment at home become the new normal.
Jio is the largest mobility operator with over 44% subscriber market share in Kolkata with over 1.15 crore mobile subscribers. Bharti Airtel added 41,065 subscribers. BSNL and Vodafone Idea lost over 62000 and 85000 subscribers respectively.
