Bhubaneswar: Aadhaar is now the most sought after document when it comes for complying with various KYC norms especially in banks or for any other official/government works.
Many people across the country often find it hard to make changes in their demographics or even adding a mobile number to Aadhaar.
Official sources said adding a mobile number to Aadhaar is important as it offers lot of benefits to the people.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in a recent tweet said, “Adding a mobile number to Aadhaar doesn’t require any document. Just carry your Aadhaar to any nearby Aadhaar Center to place a add/update mobile number request.”
As per UIDAI, one just need to visit their nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra with Aadhaar card and get their mobile number updated.
