Lockdown in Mumbai? Here is what CM Uddhav Thackeray said

Mumbai, Mar 11: Amid the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has instructed all officials to keep options open, said Aslam Shaikh, Guardian Minister for Mumbai, on Tuesday.

However, despite rising cases of coronavirus in the state, Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday said said that the state government cannot easily adopt the decision to impose a lockdown in the state. He also said that a decision will be taken after reviewing the situation.

Earlier in the day, the state government imposed night curfew in Kalyan Dombivli and Nandurbar districts. These curfews will be in place till further order. On Tuesday, Janata curfew was imposed in Jalgaon.
