LPG cylinder prices increased by Rs 25, second hike in four days

In another major blow to the common man, LPG cylinder prices were again hiked by Rs 25 on Monday. Just three days ago, the prices were hiked by Rs 25.

The increase has now taken the price of a 14.2 kg household gas cylinder to Rs 819 in Delhi. The new prices have been implemented from March 1.

On February 25, the prices for cooking gas were hiked by Rs 25. It was the third hike in the month of February. Earlier, the prices were increased on February 4 and February 14.

In December, the price of the LPG cylinder was increased twice. On December 1, its rate was increased from Rs 594 to Rs 644 and then on December 15, its price was again increased to Rs 694. That is, 100 rupees was increased within a month. However, the prices were not raised in January. In January, the price of non-subsidized LPG (14.2 KG) was Rs 694.
