New Delhi, Sep 23: Maharashtra is likely to raise the issue of lack of support from the Centre during the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray will raise the issue of the lack of Centre’s support in the state’s fight against COVID-19. While citing officials, Hindustan Times said that the lack of Centre’s assistance has added to the state’s finance burden. The Centre is yet to pay the compensation for the GST to the state. Over and above, it has stopped providing assistance to the battle against the outbreak of the pandemic, the report further added.
