Kolkata: To celebrate Army Day, short-format video app Mitron has released a reprise version of ‘Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja’, the regimental quick march of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army (INA).
Taking inspiration from the rousing original composition in 1942, the new version pays tribute to the selfless bravery demonstrated by the Indian Army and all the great individuals who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom.
The reprise version is played on the background of momentous dates and key timeline of Netaji’s journey for an Independent India. The song aims to evoke patriotic emotions amongst Indians.
