New Delhi, Sep 20: A fresh ruckus erupted in the Upper House after the opposition demanded that the discussion be continued on Monday, since the session was scheduled to end at 1 pm.
Leader of Opposition, Ghulam Nabi Azad, said the discussion should be continued on Monday since majority of the MPs were in favour of that.
“To decide this, we should go by the consensus of the members, not by the numbers of the ruling party,” he said. Despite repeated requests, opposition parties arrived at the well of the house to protest against the discussion.
