Navdeep Saini became another name in the injury list of the Indian cricket team after he suffered a groin injury on the first day of the Brisbane Test against Australia. Navdeep Saini was bowling his eighth over and on the fifth ball, he had a catch dropped by Ajinkya Rahane at gully with Marnus Labuschagne getting a huge life. However, as he prepared to bowl the next ball, Navdeep Saini suffered the injury and did some stretching exercises. The physio came out and Navdeep Saini could not complete his over. According to an update from the BCCI, it stated, “Navdeep Saini has complained of pain in his groin. He is currently being monitored by the BCCI medical team.”
The side is already dealing with injuries to Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah and Hanuma Vihari who were all sidelined after the epic draw in Sydney.
