Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is fully prepared for COVID19 vaccination with a prioritised list, said an official on Monday.
Apprising the State’s preparedness at a review meeting chaired by Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy said, “Odisha stands prepared for Covid vaccination with prioritised list and well-designed multi-sectoral response system at different levels.”
“Community leaders and Panchayati raj institution (PRI) people’s representatives would be involved at grass root level to roll out the covid vaccination as a people’s campaign,” Tripathy added.
Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Pardipta Mohapatra said, “The State Steering Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary and the State task Force Committee constituted under Additional Chief Secretary Health & Family Welfare have already met to finalise the strategies of immunisation.
