Berhampur: Hours after an illegal sauce manufacturing unit was busted at Ganesh Nagar area, another unauthorised factory engaged in fake water bottling was unearthed in Ganjam district on Sunday.
The illegal unit was operating from a house in the second lane of Laxmi Vihar. Acting on a tip-off, Bada Bazar police conducted raid and seized huge quantity of water bottles having levels of reputed brands.
The police said the unit owner was preparing water pouches and bottles without permission from the concerned authorities. The factory has been sealed, the police added.
Earlier in the day, Bada Bazar police seized a huge stock of the adulterated sauce and raw materials used in manufacturing in Ganesh Nagar area.
