Pierre Cherpin, french motorcycle rider, dies from injuries after fall

The 2021 Dakar Rally saw a tragic moment when announcers stated that Pierre Cherpin, a french motorcycle rider who had participated in the rally, died from his injuries that he sustained when he fell from his bike. In a release put out on the official Twitter handle of the Dakar Rally, it said, “During his transfer by medical plane, Pierre Cherpin died on Jan 14th from injuries caused by his fall during the 7th stage.The Dakar caravan would like to extend its sincere condolences to his family, relatives and friends.”

Currently, in the Dakar Rally 2021, Monster Energy Honda Team 2021 are dominating with Ricky Brabec, Joan Barreda Bort, and Kevin Benavides securing the top three positions.
