Rapido Driver’s Comment On Woman Passenger’s ‘Relationship Status’ Creeps Her Out, Sparks Outrage Online

A woman‘s allegations against a Rapido driver have ignited discussions about women’s safety in Delhi. She claimed that the driver not only made her uncomfortable with his comments but also contacted her the following day on WhatsApp with unsolicited messages.

Sharing her experience on Reddit, she wrote, “Hey everyone, I booked a Rapido ride yesterday. After dropping me off, the rider started asking me personal questions while I was making the payment. I don’t mind small talk, so I engaged in conversation.”

She continued, “Then he said something like, ‘You’re so young and beautiful, why are you engaged?’ I awkwardly laughed and replied with ‘Thank you, bhaiya,’ but he insisted, ‘Please don’t call me bhaiya, and if possible, share your social media.’ I lied and said I don’t use social media, then quickly left.”
