Industrialist Ratan Tata has won the hearts of netizens after he travelled to Pune to meet an ailing former employee on Monday. Tata’s compassionate gesture came to light after Yogesh Desai, CEO at Primaverse, shared the story on LinkedIn earlier this week. Desai took a picture of the 83-year-old Tata at Friends Society in Pune and it has gone viral.
Reason behind Tata’s visit
Ratan Tata was informed that the employee had been keeping unwell since the past two years. Hence, he decided to travel from Mumbai to Pune to visit him at his residence.

Desai shared a picture wherein Ratan Tata was seen interacting with the employee. Desai praised the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons and called him a “living legend”, and “the greatest businessman alive in India” for visiting his former employee all the way from Mumbai.
