Serena Williams on Sunday continues her quest for a 24th Major title in a French Open women’s draw where the seeds are falling by the wayside with every passing day while Daniil Medvedev looks to keep his impressive run going, playing his first fourth round match at Roland Garros.
The top three seeds, Ashleigh Barty, Naomi Osaka and Aryna Sabalenka all failed to get beyond the third round. In all, only four of the top 10 made the third round, the fewest in 20 years.
