Sunil Gavaskar was caught in the middle of a huge controversy during the IPL 2020 clash between Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2020 clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The former India skipper was accused of making a snide remark involving Anushka Sharma that many thought was in poor taste. Gavaskar remarked, “Inhone lockdown me to bas Anushka ki gendon ki practice ki hain”. However, Sunil Gavaskar issued a clarification to multiple media outlets over the issue.
