Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has also defeated Baahubali 2 (Hindi) and The Kashmir Files to register the best-ever figures by a Bollywood film on its eighth day.
Sunny Deol’s action-packed sequel Gadar 2 continues to roar at the box office and has now entered the Rs 300 crore club in India. Also starring Ameesh Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, and Manish Wadhwa in key roles, the film has been directed by Anil Sharma who also helmed the first part Gadar: Ek Prem Katha 22 years earlier.
After collecting Rs 284.63 crore in its first week, Gadar 2 added Rs 20.50 crore to its collections on its second Friday taking the total eight-day domestic collection to Rs 303.15 crore. This makes the actioner the second film this year (considering only the Hindi language release) to earn above Rs 300 crore in India after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
