Uttar Pradesh Police car carrying gangster Feroz Khan, 65, who was absconding for six years, overturned in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district. The accused died on the spot.
The UP Police team was escorting gangster Feroz Khan to Lucknow from Mumbai. A relative of the gangster was also accompanying the police for identification purposes.
As per a Zee News report, the accident occurred due to the sudden arrival of cows on the road.
Three policemen, including a family of the accused, were also injured in the accident that took place at around 6 am on Sunday on Gwalior-Betul National Highway near Jogipura Toll under Chanchoda police station limits.
Gangster Feroz Khan was booked in 2014 under the UP Gangster Act and was absconding since the case was registered.
