South African batsmen came to the party in the the final of the three-match T20I series against England as they sent England bowlers on a journey, especially in the last five overs of the innings.
Choosing to bat first at Newlands, where the first match was played, South Africa didn’t get off to a great start as after hitting a couple of good shots, skipper Quinton de Kock got out for just 17.
Since, it was a used pitch, it looked like another low-scorer. after the powerplay, South Africa lost two more wickets quickly.
Ben Stokes, with his change of pace, did the trick as both Temba Bavuma and Reeza Hendricks failed to get on with it.
South Africa were 64-3 in the 10th over and were staring down the bareel again. Faf du Plessis on the other end, was struggling to time the ball.
