What have you done about Rakul Preet’s media gag plea?

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Tueday asked the Union government, the Press Council of India (PCI) and the National Broadcasting Association (NBA) what they have done regarding actress Rakul Preet Singh’s plea to stop media reports from connecting her with the Bollywood drug case.

The actress approached the Delhi High Court seeking a gag order on reports of her links to drugs. Talk of these links emanated from deposition given by Rhea Chakraorty, girl friend of Sushant Singh Rajput, to investigative agencies.

 

Responding to Rakul Preet’s petition, the Delhi High Court on September 17 ordered the three respondents to treat her petition as a representation and report back on what action they have taken on it.
