Kyle Jamieson was on fire in the first session on the final day of the World Test Championship (WTC) final against India as he dismissed Team India skipper Virat Kohli and batsman Cheteshwar Pujara in his consecutive overs to peg the opposition back and almost got his third wicket.
Jamieson set a similar trap for the wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant as he did in the first innings. A full ball from over the wicket angling across towards the off stump and Pant tried to have a poke at it and a healthy edge went to the right of the second slip, but Tim Southee at the position fumbled it.
This was Southee’s second drop of the game as he dropped Ravindra Jadeja in the first innings as well.
