The admissions for the current academic session (2015-2016) are open for applicants, with a total of 100 seats effective June 30th, 2015. The institute director cum Professor Dr.Ashish Jain informed that the admissions to the BDS course will be on the basis of the common entrance test (CET) to be conducted on July 20th, five days prior to the AIPMT re-exam as notified by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE.) However preference will be given to candidates whose names appear in the AIPMT merit list.
The last academic session, the institute conducted their admissions on the basis of AIPMT ranks which was followed by a CET to fill a few vacant seats post-admission. This year, the CET has been announced in advance to avoid the anticipated downtime in admission process considering the postponement of AIPMT exam dates due to the cheating scandal, as mentioned by Dr. Jain.
