Chicken Curry Recipe

Chicken curry has many different regional variations. This is one of India’s favorite dishes. Chicken curry is an absolute must have for any Indian dinner party or a get-together. It can be served with naan, roti, or rice.

Instructions

  1. First heat oil in a pan, then add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, and green cardamoms. Wait for a minute to let the aroma build.

  2. Add chopped onions and chillies. Saute onions till they turn golden in color.

  3. Next, add ginger and garlic paste and saute for a minute till you get aroma.

  4. Add tomatoes, turmeric, and salt and mix it well. Now cook for a few minutes.

  5. Now add yogurt, red chilli powder, garam masala, and coriander powder.

  6. On a low flame, cook until the paste or the mixture smells good.

  7. After that, add chicken and coriander leaves and fry for 3-4 minutes.
