Emily Ratajkowski goes into the Versace archive for her naked dress at the 2024 Met Gala

Emily Ratajkowski went vampy—and vintage—for the 2024 Met Gala.

The model and writer wore a rare fall-winter 2001 archive Atelier Versace dress to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala. The piece was sourced from Los Angeles-based Tab Vintage; in March, the digital styling shop posted a video of the model wearing the dress during the Italian house’s original couture runway show—and it seems Ratajkowski scooped it up soon after.

The crystallized, semi-transparent gown was a form-fitting choice for Ratajkowski, who is known for her embrace of naked and sheer dress. She accessorized her look with over 108 carats of yellow diamonds from Chopard, as well as René Caovilla shoes.
