Flashback to Milan Fashion Week Spring 2015

Ahead of the upcoming Spring 2025 season of Milan Fashion Week, we’re flashing it back a whole decade ago to the Spring 2015 season – somewhat of a tradition here at theFashionSpot.

MFW Spring 2015 was an absolute feast for the eyes. Alberta Ferretti’s showcase was soft, romantic, utterly feminine and simply divine. Thomas Maier was the creative force behind Bottega Veneta in September 2014, inspired by dancers off-duty, their “beautiful posture” and “dancer’s walk” for his spring offering. Bullfighters and Spain proved to be major sources of inspiration for the design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The pair revealed a collection of leggy silhouettes, romantic full skirts, and ornate embellishments on simple silhouettes. Cara Delevingne walked the Fendi catwalk exclusively in Milan, with the late Karl Lagerfeld inspired by the architecture of the Fendi headquarters: Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana.
